I returned this coat. I ordered, as a matter of experience, a 42-inch chest size. I normally take a 44 but generally find Peter Christian's sizing far too generous. However, while the 42 fitted me fine when just wearing a shirt and was tight when I added a thin merino sweater, it was just too small with a thick sweatrer, which is how I would wear it normally - i.e. in the autumn and winter. I wasn't sure whether I liked the jacket enough to spend money having the 42 let out a bit or buying a 44 and having it taken in. The colour was a bit too bright, in my opinion. I might make an appointment to go down to Christian's warehouse/shop to have a rethink in the next few weeks.I probably need some new jeans anyway, and their slimline stretch jeans are perfect.
